The Orlando Magic take on the Philadelphia 76ers tonight in what feels like a 'must win' game for Orlando. The Magic have dropped two straight (Houston & Milwaukee) and playing your way into the playoffs through the Play-In Tournament is becoming more and more likely with each loss.
There are a ton of Eastern Conference games tonight that have some major playoff seeding implications, but we're here to dumb it down for you. Here is what all Magic fans should be watching for tonight.
MAGIC at 76ers - Clinch a playoff spot with a WIN. Clinches Southeast Division with a WIN OR Miami LOSS.
PACERS at Cavaliers 7:30 - Orlando fans should be pulling for Indiana in order for the Magic to finish with the best playoff positioning.
Plus, this game goes beyond just playoff implications. This Magic team seems to have lacked confidence and moxie over the last handful of games. A win tonight can reignite the spark that carried the Magic to this point in the season with the regular season finale coming up at home against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday. Wins in either, preferably both of these games, can go a long way for both the standings, and the squad's confidence heading into the postseason. Brandon and I broke it all down earlier today on In The Zone. Check out the podcast linked below for the full segment.
