Bill Belichick has been one of the most successful NFL coaches of the modern era, and perhaps the greatest of all time. 6x Super Bowl Champion, 3x Coach of the Year, a record 31 postseason wins, and over 300 total wins.
However, the Patriots 2-8 record to kick off the season after missing the postseason a year ago is raising plenty of eye brows around the league. ESPN Analyst joined the Pat McAfee show on Thursday and admitted to hearing rumors about Belichick moving on from New England, sooner rather than later. See the full clip below.
His legacy is set, and staying in New England on a team that is quite simply spiraling out of control is only hurting the image of the franchise and Belichick's legacy. If he were to move on, many suggest either the Washington Commanders due to his tie to the area, or the Los Angeles Chargers who already have a super bowl level roster.
