When the NFL schedule is released, everyone within or around each organization has games they circle on the calendar. This season, that was the Chiefs for the Dolphins, and it was the Eagles for the Cowboys. Both of those games fell on this previous weekend, and neither game disappointed.
The Cowboys brought the defending NFC champs down to the final drive, where the Eagles produced a big stop on Dak Prescott and the Cowboys, leading to the 28-23 loss in Philadelphia. The Dolphins overcame a 21-0 first half deficit, putting the ball in Tua's hands with a chance to tie the game. Despite creeping up to the Chiefs red zone in the final minute, Miami would fall just short resulting in the 21-14 loss.
To recap, both the Phins and the Cowboys lost to the defending conference champs over the weekend by a score. However, Brandon and I feel more confident in the Dolphins opposed to the Cowboys. Check out our segment on the matter from In The Zone earlier today in the podcast below.
