The first College Football Playoff Selection Committee rankings for the 2023 college football playoffs is here! The top four teams according to the CFP Selection Committee:
1) Ohio State (8-0)
2) Georgia (8-0)
3) Michigan (8-0)
4) Florida State (8-0)

Ohio State opens as the No. 1 ranked team despite Georgia being undefeated and still sitting atop the AP Top 25 - a spot the Bulldogs have held since the opening preseason AP poll. This is the second time since 2020 that the CFP Selection Committee rankings have been different at the time of release than the AP Top 25 poll.
