Madden '24 ratings are starting to trickle out, so we thought it would be a good time to remind you of some of the more random 99's in the game's past. None greater than the Bucs fullback and fan favorite, Mike Alstott.
Entering into the 1999 season, Alstott was coming off a year where he ran for over 800 yards on the ground and scored a total of 9 TD's. Not exactly the type of statistical excellence we've come to appreciate with the '99 Club', but, there was something unique about the bruiser. Not only was he an effective RB, but he was a hell of a blocker too, a true John Madden guy.
