After hearing news that Thomas Castellanos would be hitting the transfer portal, I was kind of surprised to see some UCF fans up in arms about it, considering the small sample size of his reps and John Rhys Plumlee being the unquestioned starter at QB. We only got to see Castellanos for so many snaps, and to be honest, he didn't seem like a Malzahn type of Quarterback. Also, if UCF is going to transition into the Big 12 smoothly, John Rhys Plumlee needs to have a big season.
