Dalvin Cook to the Phins?

Dalvin Cook could be headed elsewhere here soon…

I’m puzzled by this…he’s still at the top of his game, yet, the Vikings are reportedly close to moving on from him. Cook is due 10.4 million this year…but Minnesota can save some cash by cutting him. They did sign Alexander Mattison back in free-agency…Mattison is one of the more competent back-ups in the league but he's absolutely NOT Dalvin Cook. Cook is a top 3 or 4 runner in the NFL.

Dalvin is coming off a year where he played 17 games…1,173 yards and 10 total TD’s.

And...rumor has it, Miami is the target location for Cook if this goes down this way…

A rumor that probably came from this report…"The Dolphins reached out to the Vikings on Dalvin Cook, according to the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson. (3-31)"
