Update: Giannis is Out Tonight vs Magic

The Magic are hanging on by a thread when it comes to making the play-in and when you see the Milwaukee Bucks on the schedule, that doesn't exactly encourage optimism either. However, this will be a slightly different Bucks team making their way to Amway tonight.

This blurb from Rotowire.com:

Giannis Antetokounmpo was previously listed as probable due to right knee soreness, but the MVP candidate is now under the weather and will miss just his second game since Jan. 23. Jrue Holiday (neck) has also been ruled out, so the Bucks will need plenty of reserves to step into bigger roles versus Orlando. Bobby Portis figures to be the most likely candidate to fill Antetokounmpo's spot in the starting five.

Here's where the mindset for a Magic fan heading to the arena tonight is an interesting one. If you're a fan, obviously you want to see the Magic make the play-in, and playing against a team as good as Milwaukee at anything less than full strength is a net positive. However, if you are heading to the game tonight, chances are you were looking forward to watching one of the best in the world suit up, and now you miss that opportunity to watch Giannis.

I say you should be grinning ear to ear with this news...but not everyone is going to feel that way.

Either way you slice it, tonight just went from "hope to win" to "must win" vs Milwaukee.

See ya out there Magic fans.
