The MLS season kicks off this weekend but you wouldn't know it unless you seek it out. In the popular leagues, even if you don't like the sport, you can't help but be notified the season will be starting because of how those sports are promoted.
A lot of people want soccer to become the next big thing in the United States but based on the lack of star power, revenue, and advertising..I'm not sure when that day comes.
