It gets pretty sweaty on a NBA floor and every night in the league, millions of dollars worth of players rely on floor sweepers do their thing and keep the court as dry as possible. To me, it just feels like an underrated concept because a slippery court can lead to injuries. However, if you google the salary that a floor sweeper earns, it does seem like they're taken pretty good care of.
