I actually think the Raiders might be an underrated team heading into the '22 NFL season but after waiving last year's first round pick Alex Leatherwood (of Alabama), that makes it three straight 1st round picks that were not retained through their second season for Las Vegas. Damon Arnette of Ohio St and Henry Ruggs of Alabama were the previous two and they had off the field issues that crushed their careers.
It does help when you draft guys like Hunter Renfrow in the 5th round, but three straight first round busts is pretty catastrophic for any NFL franchise, and eating $8M in dead cap space isn't great either.
