Juan Soto will be one of the youngest free agents to hit the market when the time comes and based on his success to this point, he is sure to make record-breaking money. After Soto reportedly declined a 15 year, $440 million contract, Washington could end up dealing him to a contender for just about a team's entire farm system.
The Nationals are in need of replenishing their prospect pool and trading Soto could be the way to do that, however they would have to make the perfect deal to justify selling off a franchise player like Juan Soto.
