According to reports, the Orlando Magic are not expected to tender a qualifying offer to Mo Bamba by Wednesday's deadline which would make him an unrestricted free agent.
It seems as though the front office will be letting the former 6th overall pick walk away after a short, inauspicious career here in Orlando (despite some of us still holding hope that he'd pan out.) I always worried he'd have the best years of his career elsewhere and that could very well be the case. But Magic fans shouldn't be bothered by this, he might not fit the current plan in the "Era of Paolo" and there are other options that could better fit the new directions.
Kravitz and I talk about Bamba's time here in Orlando as well as our take on potentially letting him walk, where they go from here, as well as the Dejounte Murray trade which broke while we were on air.
