Last year, the Magic only won 22 games while the 10th seeded Hornets won 43, so it would take around a 20-win increase to be in the conversation for the Play-In Tournament. The Celtics, Raptors, Bulls, and Cavs all improved by 20 wins last season, so it isn't impossible.
Wendell Carter Jr, Franz Wagner emerged last season and when you combine that with drafting Paolo Banchero, potentially getting a full season from Markelle Fultz (and dare I say Jonathan Isaac) with Jalen Suggs having a chance to make a jump...is the play-in tournament actually feasible for the Orlando Magic?
