According to reports, the Seattle Seahawks have traded star QB Russell Wilson and a fourth round pick to the Denver Broncos for QB Drew Lock, TE Noah Fant, DL Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, two second-round picks, and a fifth-round pick. That's what you call a blockbuster.
This trade happened within a few hours after Aaron Rodgers reportedly signed a record-setting deal to stay in Green Bay. (Despite his recent tweet saying he hasn't officially signed yet but he did say he was returning.) It had seemed like Denver hired former Packers OC Nathaniel Hackett as their Head Coach to lure Aaron Rodgers to Denver, yet apparently the Broncos front office had been working on this deal to get Wilson for the last few weeks.
That leaves the question, did the Seahawks get enough for a franchise face like Russell Wilson and where do they go from here? Kravitz and myself discuss all angles of the deal in the podcast clip below.
