The Jacksonville Jaguars nearly went up 21-0, blew a 14 point lead, and ended up losing 24-21 to the Cincinnati Bengals on a last-second FG in an entertaining Thursday Night Football Game. In the present, it is a difficult loss for Urban Meyer and the Jags, who have yet to learn how to win and are still in the process of building an identity. However, if you're a Jags fan you have to be excited about what you saw from your franchise QB. Trevor Lawrence showed his entire skill set last night. The numbers (17/24, 204 yards, 1 rush TD, no turnovers) don't tell the story the way the eye test did. He's got a cannon, he's accurate, he's fast, and he's got a football IQ with a calm demeanor. What is there not to like? One day he will be a face of the NFL.
