The Ben Simmons situation in Philadelphia has been messy to say the least. After woes in last year's Playoffs, most of Philly quit on the once beloved number one pick out of LSU. Even Head Coach Doc Rivers was non-committal about Simmons's future with the Sixers in his postgame presser, fresh off being eliminated by the Atlanta Hawks in the Conference Semis.
Today, Doc Rivers spoke on the radio claiming that the Sixers could win a championship with Ben Simmons because what else are you supposed to say? Doc Rivers should be in politics. However, it has been reported that Ben Simmons wants no part of being apart of Philly's plans going forward. Simmons is due to make around 35 million per season until 2025 when his contact expires. The question is should the Magic explore a trade for him? Should they deal someone like Jonathan Isaac to get him?
In the podcast below, Kravitz and Tozzi discuss why the Magic should and why they shouldn't over two segments during today's show.
