Tua Taking Charge in Training Camp

The Dolphins ended last season 10-6 and just outside of the playoff hunt and Tua was a huge factor in what is commonly considered and super successful year for the Miami squad.

But it seems that he's taken a step forward in training camp this year. After practice on Wednesday, tight end Mike Gesicki noted “He’s super prepared mentally and physically. Last year he was building on that. Now he feels comfortable, and it’s his show.”

After taking over for the beloved FitzMagic midseason it's Tua's show now, and he doesn't have the surefire backup he had with Fitzpatrick. It's totally Tua. It's his team, it's his show. He's got no threat to his number one position, and apparently you can hear it in his tone with his teammates in training camp.

“It’s not always what they want to hear, but what they need to hear,” Tua recalled. “After practice today, I got everyone together and talked to the entire offense about our evaluation of the day.”

All Dolphin fans should be excited to hear that Tua is not only taking charge of the team, but also that he's feeling confident about this upcoming season. This may be the year the Dolphins not only make the playoffs, but could possibly be a real threat for an AFC Championship.
