Get Used To It: Giannis Is The New Face Of The NBA

It's Giannis Antetokounmpo's world and we're just living in it. The 26-year-old Nigerian phenom out of Greece has officially stamped his mark in NBA history. Giannis has been crowned NBA Champion and Finals MVP with the team that drafted him 15th overall back in 2013. Just several days after what looked like a catastrophic leg injury, Giannis was in the Game One starting lineup and made his presence felt despite a loss. He followed that up with back-to-back 40+ point performances. Then came "the block" in Game Four which changed the series. The Greek Freak somehow topped that with an equally memorable moment, "the alley-oop" at Phoenix in Game Five. Last night, he capped off a historic NBA Finals performance with an exclamation point. He went for a "50 piece" and mixed in 5 blocks! His postgame emotions were equally as captivating as his stellar play. Antetokounmpo denied the "Suns in 4" mantra and provided the city of Milwaukee with "Bucks in 6."

Kravitz opened today's show discussing why this Championship was more meaningful than other's and how important it was that a small market team won it all.
