Rams Running Back Cam Akers is out for the season, what will Los Angeles do to replace him? Akers seemed to be trending towards stardom but now he's sidelined for the season with an achilles injury. Could the Rams bring back Todd Gurley or look for another veteran like Adrian Peterson? Or might they stay in-house? Memphis product Darrell Henderson and rookie Jake Funk (seventh round pick out of Maryland) are next on the depth chart. Either way, Sean McVay certainly has the capability of compensating for the loss of Akers with his premier play calling. They don't call him the "boy wonder" for nothing.
