So we’re all jacked up about the upcoming UCF season, Gus Malzahn has created hype that we have not ever seen from a new head coach @ UCF. This is unprecedented. People tend to forget, we weren’t actually that excited when Frost took the job…it was the job he did that got us excited.
The question then becomes, as we look @ this season, what would make the wheels of excitement fall off? My fear is that it could happen week 1.
Sept. 2nd Boise State. At home. Packed house. UCF is only favored by 4, this is supposed to be a tight game. So there’s a very real possibility they lose.
Not counting last year because they only played 7 games, Boise State has won double digit games 5 of the last 6 years.
The last time UCF lost a season opener, it was 2015 vs FIU. And if you’re a UCF fan, 2015 is like a different century ago.
Week 1 is must win.
