ESPN's Stephen A. Smith found himself on the wrong side of the viral train when comments he made about Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani on "First Take" made it's rounds on the interwebs.
In the clip, Stephen A. explains that it would be better for ratings if the superstar could speak English.
At the moment, he needs an interpreter to communicate with the English speaking majority here in the States.
The question is, does it truly matter if he can speak English if he's hitting monumental dingers and pitching at an elite level?
Doesn't it make sense for the MLB to embrace this international superstar while he's performing at a historic level?
He's ABSOLUTELY good for the game of baseball!!
