In a SHOCKING announcement today, the WWE has confirmed the release of a number of superstars. This wasn't too wild, until you looked at the list of talent being fired and saw the name Braun Strowman.
Strowman was believed to be part of the future of WWE and absolutely a person the company was planning to build around. His name was nearly synonymous with big matches and had headlined Wrestlemania numerous times.
But today with little warning, the WWE added Strowman's name to a list of released superstars who included Aleister Black, Lana, Ruby Riot, Samoa Joe and others.
Reports claim there are more releases coming. We'll have to wait and see who else is on the list of WWE cuts.
