2 HUGE games in our city this weekend.
UCF plays their biggest game of the year in the Bounce House vs #7 Cincinnati and Orlando City makes their postseason debut vs NYCFC.
As for UCF, they hope to play spoiler as their opponent is in a position that UCF fought to be in for years...within arms reach of the CFB Playoff. UCF rolls into the game with 2 losses under their belt and no real opportunity to do anything but end the year on a high note and possibly crack the top 25 again. A win for UCF would make a disappointing year feel a lot less disappointing and anytime you can beat a top 10 team in CFB, it's a good day at the office.
As for Orlando City, they've been scratching, clawing, pivoting, and trying to find ways to get into the postseason ever since they entered MLS in 2015. Finally, the Lions broke through, and in a big way. Orlando City enters the post season with the 4th shortest odds in Vegas to bring home the MLS Cup. Their opponent, NYCFC, is far more experienced in the world of MLS Playoff appearances, but City is as hot and well rounded as they come.
Both of these games are monumental for sports in this city in their own right, but which is actually the bigger game? The fans have spoken. Check out the vote on the Twitter poll below and enjoy the games this weekend.
