BALTIMORE HAS BEEN BUSY TODAY! The Ravens trade a 3rd round pick and a conditional pick for Yannick Ngakoue. Then later, we find out that they’ve added Dez Bryant to their practice squad…Couple of thoughts here:
· Are Vikings tanking for Trevor?
· Keep in mind, that after trading in order to GET Ngakoue, the Vikings essentially traded a 2nd round pick for a 3rd round pick at the end of the day.
· But, most importantly, are the Ravens trying to re-create the Jags 2017 d-line?!
The team affectionately known as "Sacksonville" was comprised of the following defensive players:
- Telvin Smith
- Jalen Ramsey
- Myles Jack
- Calais Campbell (the Mayor of Sacksonville, 14 sacks)
- Yannick Ngakoue (12 sacks, we'll call him the assistant director)
- AJ Bouye
- Dante Fowler
- Marcell Dareus
The Jags had 55 sacks that year, one of the best marks in NFL history. They were stacked and the two guys leading the charge are back together in a Ravens uniform. Scary for the NFL, watch out.
