McKenzie Milton continues to work his way back from a gruesome knee injury that nearly cost him his leg. After nearly two years, KZ put pads on for the first time last week.
Appearing on Instagram Live with former teammate Brandon Wimbush, he continued to talk about his progress and said that he was "close to being fully cleared."
The NCAA has granted college athletes an extra year of eligibility because of the COVID-19 pandemic so even if Milton doesn't play this year, he will have the option to return to UCF and play again next year.
For his career, he has completed 62% of his passes for 8,683 yards and 72 touchdowns in three years. KZ also led UCF's upset win over Auburn in the Peach Bowl back in 2018.
