Many people had the L.A. Clippers making it all the way to the NBA Finals. Turns out they won't even get a chance at the Western Conference Finals after the Denver Nuggets came back from a 3-1 deficit for the second consecutive series.
The Clippers loss brings delight to the Blazers duo of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum.
During the seeding games, Lillard had missed a couple free throws in a game against the Clippers which caused Patrick Beverly and Paul George to mock him as he walked off the court. Now Lillard is getting some redemption of sorts.
CJ McCollum also joined in on the fun. His tweet goes back to referencing the fact that the Clippers voted to not finish the season following the protests from inside the bubble.
The Clippers are surely the laughing stock right now of the NBA world. They bring in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George on top of having two sixth man of the year winners in Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell.
It looks like everyone's going to be having some fun in Mexico this offseason.
