All season long Tom Brady and Bill Belichick will be compared. Their teams will be compared, debated, and picked apart piece by piece. In their first week apart in what seems like a lifetime, Belichick was the victor.
Take this with a grain of salt. The Patriots took on the Miami Dolphins who is far from the best team in the league, but a 21-11 victory is still a victory. Cam Newton showed flashes of his old self with two rushing touchdowns. Other than that, it wasn't a great game.
The scoreboard wasn't good for Brady's Bucs, what's worse is the turnovers and confusion. Brady put his team in a place to possibly win the game, but mistakes all around gave the win to the Saints. That being said, the Saints are probably going to win their division and have a run at the Super Bowl come the season's end. So trying to compare these two games isn't as black and white as we would like, but at the end of the day, the Patriots have a win without Brady and the Bucs have a loss with him.
