The college football season for UCF starts on September 19th against Georgia Tech while the Gators open up their season on September 26th against Ole Miss.
UCF looks to rebound from a 3-loss season and return to the top of the AAC while the Gators have SEC Title hopes on their minds. Both teams will benefit from both the Pac-12 and Big Ten (for now at least) not playing football in the fall and Jon Alba explains why that should heighten expectations for fans of both schools.
"It certainly should be because there's more opportunities. I look at it like MLB. This is an anomaly year & if we get a Padres/White Sox World Series, so be it. I think we can see the same happen in CFB.
