North Dakota State's Trey Lance is one of the top QB prospects for the 2021 NFL Draft. He is considered to be a first-round pick, as is his one of his offensive tackles in Dillon Radunz. The Missouri Valley Conference (the conference in which North Dakota State plays football in) has already cancelled the seasons for their fall sports because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Bison, however, have made plans of their own.
They will play one game on October 3rd against Central Arkansas so Lance, and Radunz, can showcase their talents for NFL scouts, who could be in attendance for that game.
Lance isn't expected to show scouts anything they don't already know playing against FCS competition.
He is hoping to follow in the footsteps of fellow Bison Carson Wentz, who was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft and already has a Super Bowl to his credit.
