The Miami Marlins should be enjoying a nice 2-1 start after taking 2 of 3 from the Philadelphia Phillies over the weekend. Instead, the talk is regarding the amount of players and coaches that have tested positive for COVID-19. The result of that is a cancelled home opener against the Orioles.
That's not it though.
The Phillies, who were supposed to take on the Yankees, have also had their series opener cancelled.
Jason Collette explains why this could potentially impact the baseball season, "If the Phillies come back with a high positive rate, then honestly I don't know how you continue the season because just one team coming into another city, playing each other for the weekend, and you got two teams infected like that, it doesn't speak well."
