Football players are having to find new ways to workout and stay in shape these days. One way to do that is by participating in the 10k calorie challenge and that's what second-year Rams safety Taylor Rapp accomplished over the weekend.
How do you burn 10,000 calories in one day? You work out. A lot.
Rapp's day started at 4:30 in the morning and he biked 125 miles (103 in one ride), swam 1.25 miles, hiked four miles, and ran another three miles. All of that took over 18 hours but Rapp completed his goal, actually burning 10,521 calories.
In his rookie season with the Rams, Rapp accumulated 100 tackles (62 solo) and two interceptions, including a Pick-6.
