For D.C. Defenders home games, beer snakes have become a weekly tradition. This past weekend was no exception as the Defenders, who were on a two game losing streak, were playing host to the St. Louis BattleHawks.
The fans had a lengthy beer snake going when XFL commissioner, Oliver Luck, decided to do his part in adding to the snake.
Fans even started chanting MVP as the commissioner passed his cup up the stands to be included in the beer snake.
The D.C. Defenders would go on to win the game 15-6, ending their two game skid.
Oliver Luck is doing what he can to make sure fans like him. If the XFL continues to succeed, Roger Goodell and Rob Manfred might want to start taking notes.
