LeBron James played opponents over the weekend that could foreshadow the Lakers future. Friday night, the Lakers played the Milwaukee Bucks in what could be an NBA Finals preview. On Sunday, the Lakers played the Clippers in what could be a matchup in the Western Conference Finals. Both games, the Lakers won and both games, LeBron James had MVP-like performances.
While the weekend was nice for LeBron, Kravitz makes the case that the MVP Award is something that is awarded to the player that is having the better overall season, not a weekend.
