A couple fun facts about Aaron Murray. Aaron Murray while at Georgia accumulated more yards than anyone ever in the SEC. The same can be said about the number of passing touchdowns he had in his college career. He led Georgia to top five rankings!
But in any professional setting? Oof. Not so hot.
He spent three years in the NFL where he did not record a single snap during regular season play. Then the AAF came along. For the Atlanta Legends, he could have become exactly that! A legend. Instead, he threw seven interceptions, only three touchdowns, and gave his team a 2-3 record in his five starts.
But that's old news, right? The XFL is new and he can show how good he really is! Well, week one has come and gone and Aaron Murray has forced us into another deep sigh. He finished the inaugural Vipers game 16-34 for 231 yards and two picks. A fat zero in the touchdown column and an L for the Vipers.
It must be tough being Aaron Murray. Let's remember the good times of Aaron Murray. Back when he was the golden child of the SEC.
