Kemba Walker was the 9th overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft. He played his first eight seasons in the NBA with the Bobcats/Hornets organization before heading up to Boston this season.
He had previously met LeBron James 28 times with Charlotte and lost every single meeting. He moves up to Boston and on his first try, not only did he finally get that elusive first win, he and the Celtics completely dominated the Lakers.
Kemba, Jaylen Brown, and Jayson Tatum combined for 67 points and LBJ was held in check with 15 points on 5-12 shooting as the Celtics rout the Lakers, 139-107.
While getting that first win is nice, I'm sure one thing he would like more is to get his first NBA Championship and currently sit at 28-14 and hold the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference.
