Kevin Durant and Kendrick Perkins were teammates on the Oklahoma City Thunder from 2011-2015 and they enjoyed some success, though never won a title together in OKC.
Perkins sent out a tweet promoting his upcoming segment on Sportscenter and that he would explain why he thought Russell Westbrook was the best player to put on a Thunder uniform.
After a few back-and-forths with a member of the media, Durant jumped in and the spat began.
There's been much debate about KD leaving the Thunder and joining the team that came back from a 3-1 deficit in the Warriors the next season. Perkins called it the "weakest move in NBA history".
Whether you agree with Durant's decision to leave for the Warriors or not, he did get his championships and Finals MVP in back-to-back years.
