The Tampa Bay Bucs hit the road Sunday as they take on the Detroit Lions. Quarterback Jameis Winston suffered a hairline fracture in the thumb on his throwing hand but should be able to play.
The Bucs' backup QB is Ryan Griffin who has thrown a grand total of four passes (all this year) in six NFL seasons. Harry Gagnon explains that had Jameis Winston not played, the spread in this game (which right now has the Bucs as favorites) would have shifted significantly the other direction. He explains that the Bucs on offense rank among the best in several statistical categories and with Ryan Griffin being an unknown despite his six NFL seasons, that would have moved the line.
