It was senior day in East Lansing as the Michigan State Spartans were set to host Maryland. Normally on senior day, seniors walk out onto the field with their parents as they walk out onto the field for the last time. Unfortunately for Spartans' senior DB Josh Butler, he lost both of his parents while in college.
Instead of walking out alone, Butler walked onto the field accompanied by his pups, Roxy and Remi.
The Spartans were able to get the win over Maryland 19-16 and become bowl eligible. Butler will have one more game with the Spartans as they await to hear where they will play in their bowl game.
Josh took to Twitter after the game to thank everyone for their support on senior day.
