Where Will Antonio Brown Take His Act Next?

The Raiders have released (but probably aren't done with) Antonio Brown. I'm not going to go through all the drama involving Brown that has gone on since the end of last season while he was with the Steelers and into this offseason with the Raiders.

Here are my predictions as to where I think AB will be playing football next season:

  1. Patriots- If any team and any coach can get divas to check their ego's at the door, it's the Patriots and Bill Belichick. It happened with Randy Moss and look how that turned out. The Patriots have injuries at wide receiver with their first-round draft choice N'Keal Harry on short-term IR and Demaryius Thomas dealing with a nagging hamstring injury. Josh Gordon was reinstated from an indefinite suspension by Roger Goodell. Last year in 11 games, he put up 40 catches for 720 yards and three touchdowns. Outside of Gordon and Julian Edelman, the Patriots don't really have any proven weapons on the outside and let's not forget, Gronk retired.
  2. Eagles- Anywhere AB signs, it will more than likely be a short-term deal for minimal amounts of money after what has happened in Oakland. The Eagles did bring back DeSean Jackson and have Alshon Jeffrey and Nelson Agholor at receiver and a pretty good duo of tight ends with Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert. Could you imagine though what kind of damage this offense could do with a talent like Antonio Brown? No receiver had more than 65 catches last year (Ertz had 116 catches at tight end). Again, this would have to be short-term, low money risk type deal but Wentz to Brown would be dangerous.
  3. Out of the NFL- This would not be surprising at all. After everything that went down in Oakland and even Pittsburgh, would another team really want to risk bringing Antonio Brown into their locker room? He's a great talent, a top-5 receiver but that will only do so much with all that drama.

**Surprise team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. Call me crazy but did any of you see what's transpired in Oakland happening after he forced a trade out of Pitt? I didn't think so. Crazier things have happened and while I HIGHLY doubt this would happen, I wouldn't be surprised if it did happen.
