Blowouts have become the new normal in Major League Baseball, so much so that there have been a record number of position players that have come into games to pitch to finish them off. New York Yankees manager Aaron Boone weighed in that the sport might benefit from looking into adding a mercy rule.
Mike Tuck explains that this is a ludicrous idea and is part of the problem of saying that baseball needs to be fixed when nothing is broken.
