It was announced Monday that the Jacksonville Jaguars not only fired their offensive coordinator, Nathanial Hackett, but they also benched QB Blake Bortles in favor of Cody Kessler. Bortles has been his typical inconsistent self this season and after a 24-21 loss to the Bills, a game in which Bortles threw for only 127 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, head coach Doug Marrone felt like it was time to make a change. The Jaguars are currently on a seven game losing streak and sit at the bottom of the AFC South with a 3-8 record and are just a year removed from making the AFC Championship game.
