PHINS, BUCS, AND JAGS HYPE COULD BE ON ANOTHER LEVEL COME MONDAY...
It's true. Think about it, the Jags, Bucs, and Dolphins could all start out the 2018 season 2-0. That hasn't happened in a long, long time -- if ever. Now, the Jags already came into the season with a fair amount of hype, but this is unexpected territory for the Phins and Bucs.
The most important thing to take into account before answering today's poll question is the word irrational (that's why it's in all caps). The question is not, who will people think is the best team in the state, the question is, which team will be hyped up after two consecutive wins, and perceived to be something they are truly not?
Important to note:
If the Jags go 2-0 to start the year, they will have beaten the Giants on the road and the Patriots at home. The Bucs will have torched the Saints on the road, scoring 48, and then beaten the Super Bowl champs (Eagles) at home. The Miami Dolphins, who no one expected anything from this year, will have beaten the Titans in a 7 hour contest, and the hard-charging Jets w/ rookie QB Sam Darnold.
