The Tampa Bay Lightning advanced to the second round of the eastern conference playoffs this Saturday by beating the Devils 3-1 winning the series 5-1. Mikhail Sergachev, Ryan Callahan, and Nikita Kucherov all lit the lamp for the Lightning while Andrei Vasilevskiy stopped 26 of 27 shots.
The Lightning now await the winner of the Boston/Toronto series, and will have home ice advantage for the sereis.
Meanwhile in Downtown Orlando the Orlando Solar Bears completed their sweep of the South Carolina Stingrays Saturday night with a 2-1 win in overtime to advance to the second round of the Kelly Cup playoffs.
The Solar Bears will now take on the Florida Everblades, Orlando will host Games 3(Thursday), 4(Friday) and 5 (Sunday if necessary) at the Amway Center.
