Why despite all the talk about anthem protests and concussions, the NFL is still bringing in money and remains king of American sports. Over the last few offseasons critics have said that commissioner Roger Goodell needs to go, well looks like his power has never been stronger and he is putting more money in the pockets for owners.

Despite everyone saying that Thursday Night Football needs to go, they are raking in rights fees with what Fox offered to pay to air all of those games. 

The NFL truly has become a 12 month sport.
