Everyone can agree that college athletes need to be paid but comparing it to slavery just doesn't work. Calling the system that Trae Young and DeAndre Ayton a form of slavery is just offensive to what happened to those that endured slavery the last 300+ years. Is the system perfect? No but it's better than what people are comparing it to and after 9 months they will have the ability to sign a multi-million dollar contract.
