Daily Poll: Is NASCAR faceless?

Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s retirement marks the end of an era in NASCAR, and the start of a new. Unlike many sports, the face of NASCAR isn't primarily built on how much do you win (though it helps) but more, your popularity with the fans. That's an area where NASCAR may find themselves in some trouble moving forward. With so many young drivers without discernible personality, appearance, or lineage difference between them. How does one rise above the rest?

How does the general public, the casual fan, latch on to one of these torch-bearers for the sport? Is there enough personality there for even the hardcore fan? It feels like NASCAR, without it's two biggest pop culture stars in Danica and Dale, and of course an aging Jimmie Johnson, may go faceless before too long...
