It sucks that the Raiders are leaving Oakland, there's no way around that, and there's no better way to word it. The Raiders are Oakland, Oakland is the Raiders. They're symbiotic, they are one in the same, and it's going to be beyond awkward when they're playing in Las Vegas.
With all of that said, and as bad as this looks for the NFL, it is a sign that the league is as healthy as ever (financially). If your city isn't willing to pony up for a brand spanking new stadium, someone else will. Vegas is building this plush new building for the low price of 1.9 billion dollars. The NFL is a business, and as long as cities are willing to spend into the BILLIONS for new stadiums, movement will be something we as sports fans have to put up with.
Sorry Oakland, but again, look at that damn building...
