The Gators suffered their first loss of the season over the weekend to LSU but there's still a reason for hope says Edgar Thompson. Edgar said, "there's still plenty of goals to play for", especially with Georgia also falling over the weekend.
One thing that has Gators fans, and Edgar, second guessing Dan Mullen was the swap of quarterbacks during the third quarter.
With the Gators keeping pace with LSU on the road, Dan Mullen decided to pull Kyle Trask for a series for Emory Jones and the Gators ended up going three-and-out and LSU never looked back as the Tigers would go on to win 42-28.
That was one of a few calls that left Edgar Thompson scratching his head and second guessing head coach Dan Mullen.
