Time to cash in for Blake Bortles. 

After a rocky start to his pro career, the 4th year QB seems to be figuring things out. We've seen Blake put up big numbers before, but he's never been as efficient as he is right now. Over the course of the last month, Blake Bortles has been the #1 QB in win percentage, completion percentage, yards per attempt, TD-INT ratio, and QB rating. Unreal. 

Plus, the Jags have won 10 games and clinched a spot in the post-season. 

Blake has definitely answered the question about who the leader of this offense is this year, but what about moving forward? Remember, the Jags picked up Blake's 5th year option in the off-season. Meaning, if they hang on to him going into March of 2018, he'll be on the roster, and costing the Jags 19 million dollars. That 19 million number would be a 16 million dollar raise, as he's making 3 million right now. 

They also have the option to let him go before that March date, or they can sign him to a long term deal, thus saving the Jags some money against the cap going into next season.
